A piping engineer deals with various aspects of piping such as installation, repair and maintenance and replacements. Piping engineers are also involved in developing better and more efficient piping materials, accessories and systems.

The duties and responsibilities of a piping engineer are:

  • Studying and understanding blueprints of designs prepared by planners and supervising installation works
  • Planning and preparing schedule for finishing work within deadlines
