Assistant Director Duties and Responsibilities

  • Independently directing and managing projects. Implementing, planning and analyzing and interpreting recommendations for areas that require responsibility so as to provide the management with relevant and timely business strategies.

  • Responsible for the development of various forecasting models for the long range planning and promotional options.
  • Identifying, verifying and reporting the industry trends and estimating their impact on marketing areas.
  • Evaluating all aspects of a highly confidential corporate licensing and product acquisition program that includes forecasting, strategic analysis and the net present value.
  • Assisting the sales and marketing team in product positioning and corporate licensing as also for market research and other similar activities.

Assistant directors are usually paid an average salary of $92,500 per annum. A good track record can elevate an assistant director to a director.
